Gratitude is at the foundation of the Yes! to Love philosophy.
Hi, I'm Pascale Gibon. Welcome to episode 283 of The Everyday Life Balance Show. Thank you for tuning in. Our series on the Yes! to Love principles taken from the Yes! to Love Philosophy continues.
To live a life of love, you need to start with gratitude.
The more gratitude becomes a daily practice, and you remain in that energy of acknowledging all the love you receive, the more blessings and miracles you will experience in life.
To live a life of grace is bountiful because it shows your awareness of the beauty of life itself.
Indeed, in a year, there are only 365 days. The average lifespan in western countries is 83 for women and 77 for men.

Adopting gratitude as a daily practice is necessary for two reasons:
Gratitude is a heartfelt acknowledgement:
Other people walk blindfolded with their heads buried in the sand, unaware of their surroundings. On the other hand, mindful living means you can see the beauty there is.
You are at cause when you take full responsibility for your life, and you are at effect when you blame others. Therefore being grateful means that you are not at effect. In other words, you do not constantly live life blaming your situation and others. You are at cause because you are grateful for the opportunity for growth presenting itself each time you face a roadblock.
To sum up, gratefulness is the shift you need to move from fear to love, victimhood to victory, and hate to appreciation.
When you adopt an attitude of gratitude, you take a big step towards living a life of love.
Your action step in this episode is to take a moment to dig deep into your heart to think about and say thank you for the things you are most grateful for.
I recommend you adopt this ritual every day when you wake up first thing in the morning. You can also do it at night before bedtime.
